Those mushy breads filled with spices, chocolate and ostie made my Christmas since i was born. They come to us straight from Germany around this period of time. It took me a while to realise that I can bake them myself. So I did a little research and applied a recipe that I found online.But P.S. to be honest nothing beats the straight from Germany Lebkuchen. Its all about the texture but the taste was there, so familiar and such a joy to say I am doing Lebkuchens.
