Over the weekend, it was barbecue time. Wrapped shrimps in banana leaves and thin asparagus were on the grill. A beautiful and delicious way to grill shrimps as the leaves protects them from direct exposure to the fire and they taste like pure shrimps with no grilling after taste. I used jumbo shrimps with no seasoning, no olive oil, no garlic no salt. You can start by washing them and brushing them with lemon, then bend the neck downward and with a stick devein the shrimps one by one. Wash the banana leaves and dry them. Time to start wrapping the shrimp, lock them with a skewer. and grill for 5 minutes. Grilled asparagus, sweet chilli sauce, and a nice day in the garden.
